Ali did not set out to build a travel agency. He grew up moving through the landscapes that most visitors only see for a week at a time — the acacia plains east of the Mara, the shifting light over Amboseli, the long quiet roads into Samburu where the heat settles differently than anywhere else in Kenya. What he noticed, again and again, was the gap between how safari was sold and how it actually felt on the ground.
Too many itineraries were built around convenience rather than the traveller — fixed routes, shared vehicles, guides moving too quickly toward the next stop to notice what was in front of them. We are a young company, built with old instincts. Kenya and Tanzania are the only places we plan safaris, because depth matters more to us than reach. What we lack in years, we make up for in attention: every detail considered, every camp chosen deliberately, every day paced so the country has room to reveal itself.

Ali founded Ayal Tours and Travel to offer something he felt was missing from safari travel: patience. As the director of a founder-led safari company, he works closely with every guest from first enquiry to final game drive, and personally reviews every itinerary before it reaches a client. His focus stays narrow and deliberate — Kenya and Tanzania — because he believes real expertise comes from depth, not distance covered.
